New Church is a small congregation of Christ-followers who are led by a very passionate board of elders and one head pastor. Pastor Darrell Stribling has been ministering at New Church since late 2011 and has a vision to see the church grow in relationship to Jesus Christ. He and his wife Amanda are raising three small boys and love being an active member of New Church. Darrell is very relational in nature and seeks every opportunity to get to know the congregation and serve the surrounding community. He was baptized into Jesus Christ at the age of seven and has since followed passionately after his Savior, learning how to praise Him with his every breath. Along with preaching on Sunday morning, Darrell occasionally leads worship with his guitar and great singing voice, leads elder meetings, and volunteers for outreach events as well as any other ministry needswithin the church.
Outside of church ministry, Darrell is working hard on a Master’s degree at Lincoln Christian Seminary, a task both challenging and wonderfully rewarding. Above all, he seeks to be a loving husband to Amanda and father to his three sons Rilian, Roran, and Reese. Family is so important to him as he seeks to serve the Lord and love the church with his family’s support. Darrell is 30 years old and lives in Atlanta, Illinois.

Hey everyone! My name is Darrell, and I’ve been blessed to be ministering at New Church for over four years now! My family and I love being a part of this church, and we really look forward to the chance to get to know you. I was baptized into Jesus Christ when I was seven years old, and since then I’ve been on an incredible adventure seeking out my Savior and learning how to praise Him with every breath that I have. Jesus is everything to me, and I really hope I get the opportunity to share him with you. I’m currently working on getting my Master of Divinity Degree from Lincoln Christian Seminary, which is a challenging but wonderful experience. Most of all though, I love being a husband and father. God has blessed me with a truly wonderful family. I hope and pray that we will get the chance to get to know each other, and partner together in the ministry of Christ. — Darrell Stribling
